The French and Indian war To what extent did tensions increase between the British and the Colonists as a result of the French and Indian war? Activity: Document Analysis work sheet. What information can we learn about the French and Indian war that would help us understand the rise of the American revolution?

The French never saw the colonies as homes, but just business ventures.

The war was the product of a clash between the French and English over colonial territory and wealth and local rivalries between British and French colonists.
