What are the MENTAL (Psychological) benefits of taking part in sport? A.Relieve or prevent stress/ tension/ mental challenge (can I do it?) increase self esteem and confidence/ helps you feel good/ enjoyment of life/ aesthetic appreciation. Q. What are the SOCIAL benefits of taking part in sport? A. Mix with others/ make new friends/ meet current friends/ develop teamwork or co-operation/ work with others.
