Objectives :  REVIEW and analyze effectiveness of culturally based teaching strategies implemented since Session 4.  EVALUATE linguistic elements specific to foreign language of study (phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics).  RECOGNIZE the changing nature of language and the accompanying changes necessary for teaching the foreign language.  IDENTIFY key differences in the varieties of expression of the foreign language in culture, vocabulary, and customs.  INVESTIGATE the use of technology to increase cultural exposure and understanding (for teacher and students).

Homework Bring Print out of Handout 6.1 or save to your laptop from with data from the first administration of the Diagnostic Assessment recorded. Finish filling out Handout 3.12 (one for each student) and transfer data to Handout 6.1
