4 Course Scope For learning Quranic or classic Arabic to improve your understanding of the Quran and the traditional Islamic text. Not for learning spoken Arabic. Not for learning recitation rules of the Quran “Tajweed”. Not for learning general information about Islam. Not for advanced levels students unless you are interested to teach Arabic.

Eligibility: If you are a real beginner i.e. you do not know Arabic at all or you know some of the alphabet but you can not read and write simple words. Objective: To teach you the Arabic Alphabet, difficult Arabic phonetics, and to compose simple Arabic words as well as few introductory information of the Arabic grammar. Eligibility: If you know how to read Arabic (moderate- excellent) but you do not understand the Quranic verses. Objective: To teach you general skills to help you in translating the verses of the Quran using models of short “ suras” (Quranic chapters) in addition to a focus on the basics of the Arabic grammar.

If you are absent for more than 2 classes without excuse (sent to the teacher), your IP will be blocked so you won’t be able to attend for the next 2 courses.  Please check the room and all the educational material this week to make sure everything is working fine.  Come by time to the class, so you do not interrupt the session for other students.  Please choose your real name or short nick name that can be easily recognized by the teacher. You should use the same name in all classes.  Please do not use your audio to speak unless invited by the teacher.
