3.3 million children are exposed each year to domestic violence

Children can be exposed to violence in different manners: - Abuse occurs directly in front of them - Overhearing arguments or discussions about the abuse - Viewing the aftermath in forms of bruises on the victim and broken items in their home

Increased concern in both Psychology and Sociology views and approaches involving impact on child directly and on society.
