EDU 645 Learning and Assessments for the 21st Century

The teacher used a learning menu compilation of various lessons, she was able to provide immediate feed back and formative and summative assessments. The students had choices to use various learning tools, Graphic organizer, eulogy’s, and brochures. She would check their appetizer, they had to quiz out with their entrée, and Desert showed they had master the lesson

The students how to use different items on the menu, which assess their reading, writing and thinking critically about global topics

The students are able to pick off the menu lesson that are more of their pace, they can work at their skill level without be rushed or feeling left behind. They all will reach the goal of mastery.

I would incorporate a learning menu into my instructional design, it was very interesting to see how the students were very engaged in the lesson. The students were able to get immediate feedback. The new idea of a lesson menu would be very beneficial in the classroom for me.
