The Downs School In addition to Monday lunchtime KS4 Club in R8 there are sessions after school on Thursdays which Year 10 are welcome to attend. ‘Aiming for a 9’ Group Thursday lunchtimes in R3 with Ms Preston. Target groups linked to individualised needs after school on the Thursday e.g., Lord Of the Flies, topics/skills in Term 5 tbc. ( with thanks to the parents who encouraged their son/daughter to attend). Writers in residence – Year 10 are welcome to attend. Speakers’ Club runs on Tuesday lunchtime – an ideal opportunity to build confidence for the Spoken Language endorsement component
