1 P.A.W. INTEEN Supplement FALL 2015 Dear Teachers, I have had a wonderful summer with our young people. One of the things I found beneficial was engaging the parents and getting them involved in summer home work with their children. So, I want to encourage you all, if you have not been engaging the parents, please do so. It has made a big difference in the level of participation and excitement from our youth. There is a question I posed to our parents: what would you say is the most important thing for your children's growth and development? I am sure they will say their spiritual development and character. I then follow that question with: what do you spend your time, talent and money on when it comes to their growth and development? Now that you have their attention engage them in reinforcing the lessons at home. This will help our young people, with their prayer life, bible reading and study of God’s word.
