PAST STATE  The high intensity of the solar radiation through the roof increases the warming-up in the hall over 30 °C = 86 °F  The high internal temperature (34 °C = 93 °F ) creates technical problems in the production: measuring units, hydraulic units, laser units  On 18 July 2007 the inside temperature was continuously higher than 30°C = 86 °F from 9.00 am till 9.45 pm, but from pm till 7.15 pm over 35 °C = 95 °F ! It was the same on 16, 17, 18, 19 July)  Legally required (Ministry of Health 3/2002): if the temperature in the building is higher than 29 °C = 84 °F, the operator must have min. 5 minutes relaxing time / hour

RESULTS  Installed evaporative roof cooling system  The highest roof temperature value is 32 o C = 90 °F  The max. shop floor temperature is 29 o C = 84 °F  Avoiding the introduction of 5-minute relaxing time  No production lost, caused by high internal temperature
