What is oral tradition?

What is a legend?

Comes to us from the Aztec Indians. They were great builders and engineers. Their capital was built on a lake. Had a complex system of canals for transportation and floating gardens for crops. The Aztec culture continues in Mexico’s art, language, and food.

 What is the name of the twin volcanoes?  Where are they located?  What are the characteristics?  What are the exaggerated story details?  What is the theme?

What is a folk tale

Enslaved Africans kept their hopes alive by telling folk tales about the fight for freedom
