IMMIGRANTS IN POLAND VOIVODSHIP LABOUR OFFICE IN OPOLE MEASURES FOCUSED ON IMMIGRANTS

Abolition for foreigners the legalisation of stay of some foreign nationals in the territory of the Republic of Poland Abolition was available for foreigners staying illegally in Poland on Valid : Abolition for foreigners was placed third time, abolition for foreigners previously was in 2003 and 2007.

SOCIAL ASSISTANCE Individual Integration Program (IIP) The task of Individual Integration Program (IIP) is supporting foreigners in all possible fields of life in their first period of stay in Poland. The maximum period of assistance during IIP is 12 months. –information about amount of financial assistance; –information about possibilities of holding and denying financial assistance; –social support, especially by supporting and motivating in contacts with local society and institutions (including local Social Support Office); –support with finding a place to live after leaving refugee camp; –providing any other necessary activities which could help in integration process and which were agreed in IIP.

LABOUR MARKET ASSISTANCE European Social Fund: Human Capital Programme –PRIORITY VII : PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INTEGRATION Sub-measure Professional and social activation of persons threatened by social exclusion- Courses and trainings enabling to acquire, update or change qualifications and professional competences Internships, subsidized employment and vocational reintegration lessons at employer’s company Psychological, psychological-social or vocational counseling, Development of skills and social competences, necessary on the labour market Projects can be targeted at providing support to i.a.: –refugees, foreigners with tolerated stay, and foreigners with permission to settle, a long-term resident of the European Community, under the temporary protection, having difficulties with employment and social integration; –ethnic and national minorities
