League Name Proposed Name The league to remain as the Kettering Area Sunday Football League, it is felt the league should continue with the name so as to continue with its history and tradition. Other options were discussed but the league, formed in 1964 will be celebrating its 50 th Anniversary next year and a name change now would be detrimental to those officers who have worked tirelessly in the past on your behalf. Other options may be discussed at the end of the season.

KASFL Committee Charter THE KASFL COMMITTEE WILL Commit to returning the League to its former glories Promote and support competitive football within the KASFL Be pro-active and work together towards the continual improvement of the KASFL Offer support and advice to the member clubs throughout the season Ensure all decisions taken will be taken through the correct channels and will be 100% consistent and fair at all times Commit to a 24 hour turnaround on all correspondence Be expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner befitting of their position Produce a monthly report relevant to their position which will be presented to member clubs at KASFL Meetings THE KASFL “BE A PART OF IT”

League Format 2013/14 Proposed Format 13 Clubs- All clubs to play each other once (12 fixtures), upon completion league will split based on league standings. Top 6 teams to enter Premiership Group and Lower 7 teams to enter Championship Group. Teams to play in round robin home and away fixtures (10/12 Fixtures) to a conclusion. Principle Link Trophy to Premiership Winners & Mysec Trophy to Championship Winners. All clubs will have an interest throughout the season

KASFL Cup Competitions Thornton Cup ALL Teams – 5 x Preliminary Round Fixtures – Quarter Finals – Semi Finals to be held at Stewarts & Lloyds AFC. Quincey Shield Division to be split after first round of fixtures – Top Half to compete in the Quincey Shield. 2 x Preliminary Round Fixtures – Semi-Finals to be held at Stewarts & Lloyds AFC. Deeley Cup Division to be split after first round of fixtures – Lower Half to compete in the Deeley Cup. 3 x Preliminary Round Fixtures – Semi-Finals to be held at Stewarts & Lloyds AFC. Sharman Cup Winners of KASFL Premiership v Winners of Thornton Cup to be held at Stewarts & Lloyds AFC, Season Opener. Referee Standards and Practices The KASFL will secure the services of a pool of 10 committed referee’s The Referees Secretary will allocate referees a month in advance Referees will receive a list of fixtures and allocated games monthly Clubs to confirm fixture with referee no later than the Wednesday before the game Referees to nominate a player from each team every fixture to put forward for the KASFL Fair Play Award. Referees Fees to increase from £25 to £28 Referee Of The Year Award to be introduced
