Clothing Menominee are known for their colorful clothing. Women wore woven shirts along with leggings. Women made woven pouches. They wore copper jewerly.
Food Menominee tribes were known as wild rice men. They collected wild rice in ponds and lakes. They ate many kinds of fish.
Hunting and Fishing Women made nets of bark for men to fish. For hunting they used bows and arows, clubs,and stone axes. For fishing they used spears and nets.
Houses They lived in wigwams covered with mats of cattails. This tribe had year round villages. They had warm weather houses and cold weather houses. They also lived in longhouses.
Tobacco Menominee Indians used tobacco as a ritual. It was important to them for making peace preparing for war, and curing the sick.
