Aerospace Engineering By Ethan Blaney

Graduation Paper - What is an Aerospace Engineers? - It was stated in my thesis that Aeropsace engineers are a specific breed of engineers that design, build, and refine aircraft using a variety of tools and techniques while influencing society’s modes of transportation. - My driving question….. - How can we make aircraft faster, safer, and more fuel efficient in today’s growing society?

Conclusion to Paper - Even though it may seem that in today’s technology rich society, it is still the beginning of discovery and as years go by more and more discoveries will be made.

Graduation Product - What did I do? - In order to get a better understanding of the future field I am interested in, having a challenge to me such as the Baals Wind Tunnel is a great way to better futher my knowledge. - Most of my time spent on this product was whenever I was at the work shed. Usually I spent two or more hours each time and had set goals for the day.

Mentor - Who was my mentor? - My very good friend now Mr. Bliss was chosen by me to be my mentor. He has been a long time friend in the community to me and my mom. The main reason behind choosing him was that he is an aerospace engineer and was usually on business trips but still helped me out very much. During his time absent we were still able to get in contact with each other through Skype a webcast communication system and .

Connections - So where does it all fit? - The connection between my research paper and product is that it shows on a smaller scale the work involved in the design of aircraft frames and shapes that aerospace engineers deal with in real life situations.

Success/Challenges - The success behind my graduation product is that it has given me a better understanding of the field of work, as well as has given me some personal skills such as better time management that I can use later on. - Some challenges along the way was time, at first I never thought that it would take as long as it has for my product but I’m glad because of skills it has given me to take on to the future.

Future Expectations - Onward…. - Plans for me in the future include some of the following. 1.) Continue education; college/university 2.) Air Force after college 3.) Find a job in the workforce that is geared toward my interests, for example; towards aerospace engineering.
