The third Comenius meeting in Piła - Poland 6th May 2013 – 10th May 2013

  To maximize the exposure of our pupils to the other partner countries, peers living conditions, languages, cultures and problems  To involve pupils in verbal and written communication, communication through internet and other activities leading to the project meetings  To involve students in series of activities experiencing which they will learn to learn  To promote and reinforce creativity, innovation and exchanges by different forms of cooperation  To shape an attitude of culture and religious tolerance by seeing the differences and similarities between the partners' religions  To promote language learning and linguistic diversity within Europe  To reinforce the contribution of Lifelong Learning to social cohesion, intercultural dialogue, gender equality and personal realization  To make pupils feel the excitement of partnership  To work as teams among teachers and pupils from different countries within the partnership to give a unique opportunity for every participant to experience the European dimension  To increase the motivation and self-confidence of pupils and to make learning more attractive in particular PROJECT’S MAIN OBJECTIVES:

  Organizing a project meeting, a special feast for children,and all activities in each country;  Preparing national foods, folk dances, sketches, animations fort he multicultural evening  Hosting the participants, organize the host families, the accommodation for teachers, all the excursions and cultural visits.  Preparing presentations of the school, city, country and educational systems;  Creating a Comenius corner at school,  Searching for and making presentations of the topics, presenting the topics… “ at the meeting  Preparing a leaflet of daily words and expressions useful phrases in own languages translated into English  Writing articles for the project website/blog and local press;  Preparing a photo album of activities from each meeting in the partners' school  Organizing an Exhibition with students’ artistic works about the cultural topics after the first year of the project  Applying initial questionnaire and evaluation forms  Applying final questionnaire and evaluation forms  Filling in the evaluation forms and writing first year reports;  Filling in the evaluation forms and writing final reports  Giving conferences about sharing experiences and impressions at school after the project meeting COMMON TASKS FOR ALL PARNERS:

 Romania  Publishing a Booklet with all photos, articles and students’ impressions;  Recording and editing a DVD with videos, photos, students’ works, articles. Turkey  Creating evaluation forms and questionnaires  Statistical analysis of initial and final questionnaire and evaluation forms Slovenia  Creating and updating project website including the presentation of schools, project activities, photos, videos and final products during the process Poland  A mini-dictionary of daily words and expressions useful phrases in Polish languages translated into English  Publishing a Project Calendar with the materials of the Project after first year Spain  Publishing a Project Calendar with the materials of the Project after second year Bulgaria  Publishing a multicultural magazine include selected pictures, stories, cultural heritage descriptions, some different traditional events, children’s memories collected during the Project. SEARATED TASKS:

 In September all partners:  Created Comenius corners at schools.  Prepared presentations of the school, city, country and educational system. In October:  Created and updated project website including the presentation of schools, project activities, photos, videos and final products during the process.  Created evaluation forms and questionnaires.  Applied initial questionnaire and evaluation forms and sent it back to Turkey. WHAT WE’VE DONE SO FAR…

 In November: Meeting in Turkey ( Turkey prepared and presented):  National foods, folk dances, sketches, animations fort he multicultural evening.  A leaflet of daily words and expressions useful phrases in Turkish language translated into English.  Orginized a special feast for children.  Organized the multicultural evening.  Evaluation of the meeting.  Activities/workshops during the project meeting.  Hosted the participants, organized the host families, the accommodation for teachers, all the excursions and cultural visits. All countries prepared and presented:  Presentations of the school, city, country and educational systems.  National foods, folk dances.  Presentations of the topics”Dramatic Stories of the children- Legends in our cultures“.  In March: Meeting in Slovenia (Slovenia prepared and presented):  Activities/workshops during the project meeting.  Hosted the participants, organized the host families, the accommodation for teachers, all the excursions and cultural visits.  National foods, folk dances, sketches, animations for the multicultural evening.  A leaflet of daily words and expressions useful phrases in Slovenian language translated into English.  Orginized a special feast for children.  Organized the multicultural evening.  Evaluation of the meeting.
