Guess who is actually doing this at the Happy Trails Rehab! If you guessed Fred R..... If you guessed Fred R..... You guessed wrong! He never worked the steps, he just quotes the Big Book, does meetings, and tells stories about Bill Wilson!

NOBODY at the Agency is doing anything that relates to its mission statement!

Hence, Dr. T’s Rule! Always look at the MISSION STATEMENT FIRST! (If somebody can find it for you!!) Always look at the MISSION STATEMENT FIRST! (If somebody can find it for you!!) What is a workable intervention hypothesis? IF the agency can flush out all personnel extraneous to the actual mission statement, and IF the agency hires people who are actually devoted to the mission statement, THEN... CLIENTS WILL DEMONSTRATE: an increase in spiritual wellbeing, an increase in morale, an increase in their ability to remain in recovery! So WHAT IS OUR GOAL? LASTING, LASTING, LIFE-LONG LIFE-LONG ABSTINENCE ABSTINENCE FROM ALCOHOL FROM ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS. AND OTHER DRUGS.

OUTCOME OBJECTIVE? AN ONGOING 75% SOBRIETY RATE IN OUR GRADUATES, AND GREATER LIFE AN ONGOING 75% SOBRIETY RATE IN OUR GRADUATES, AND GREATER LIFE SATISFACTION AS MEASURED AT 3, 6, 12, AND 24 MONTHS BY ADDICTIONS SEVERITY INDEX INTERVIEWS! SATISFACTION AS MEASURED AT 3, 6, 12, AND 24 MONTHS BY ADDICTIONS SEVERITY INDEX INTERVIEWS!

Process objectives?  Client training in the contents of the basic text “Alcoholics Anonymous”  Client training and didactic attendance in development of personal levels of spirituality  Increased client attendance at strongly step-oriented AA meetings  Promotion of AA sponsorship

And activities?? For one thing: All the wonderful trainings, hirings, firings, redesignings, and fresh programs that YOUR BRILLIANT TEAM will implement!

What are some intermediate outcomes we can predict so Stan calms down? Increased retention rates of clientele Increased retention rates of clientele Increased productivity within community Increased productivity within community Increased alumni group attendance Increased alumni group attendance And a host of And a host of other other possibilities! possibilities!
