Great Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont Exploratorium trip 2016

Travel Cavallo Motorcoach will transport us safely. We travel at night to use our time wisely and to save money

Students will engage in outdoor education and team building activities that will be explored in the amazing setting of the Smoky Mountains. The Tremont Institute provides wonderful opportunities for students to explore nature and test their own abilities.

Food We will eat breakfast in Townsend Tennessee on Monday morning - budget $10.00 While at Tremont we will eat our meals in the dining hall. On our return trip we we make a brief stop for snacks but not a meal, as to get your children home at a reasonable time.

Programming Activities may include: All day hike, wildlife observations mapping, alpine ecology hands on field ecology animal tracking, field journaling Our underlying theme throughout our experience is emergency preparedness

Accomidations Students and chaperones sleep in the dorms that are very separated by boys and girls. There are many bunk beds and single beds. Bring your bedding, and don’t forget your pillow!

Questions, concerns, thoughts?
