What does a Maker need to do to participate ? Find an idea (Make Magazine, Google search, Montessori Maker Faire website) Find an adult mentor (parent/grandparent is great!) Prepare a description of the project idea Submit your Maker Idea online by March 15 here: Call for Makers FormCall for Makers Form Makers will be notified on March 20 th
Once selected, now what??!? Plan any code or building for the project as it’s needed Document the research process, any problems you faced while pulling the project together, take pictures of you and your Mentor working on the project. Collect evidence of how you made your project -- sketches, prototypes, etc
In Preparation for the Big Day: Design the “look and feel” of the project display Include information from the planning, building and process Don’t forget photos you took while building the project You can follow guidelines for Science Fair exhibits found online Simple poster with photos showing pictures of the process you followed to create your project. Can you include any handouts?
