There was 1 robbery reported last week: Pearl St: On 12/1, Victim was at the Brookline Village T stop between 900hrs and 930hrs when she noticed a man start to run from the opposite side of the street. Victim stated that a train had just pulled into the stop, and she assumed the male was attempting to catch the train. Victim stated that the man then knocked her to the ground and pulled her pocketbook away from her before running back in the direction he came from. Victim stated that Suspect was a black male wearing a hoodie. Victim did not observe a weapon, nor did Suspect speak to her. Victim stated that her pocketbook contained a small purse which had her Passport and her travel documents. Robbery

There were 5 Burglaries reported last week: Hyslop Rd: Between 11/30 at approximately 2000hrs and 12/1 at approximately 715hrs, a local school’s offices were broken into. There was a distinct grip mark on the door knobs. Rooms were not broken into, but the attempt was made. However, those rooms were successfully broken into. The wood around the door lock was splintered in the rooms were entered by breaking a window pane of glass within the door. According to security at the school, it appears nothing was taken. Holland Rd: On the same date and during the same time period as the above case, another office building was broken into. The office was successfully broken into and a textbook was taken. Another room was also broken into. However, it appears that nothing was taken. Stanton Rd: On 12/1 at approximately 1735hrs, officers responded for a report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers met with the Victims who stated that the break occurred sometime between 930hrs and 1730hrs. Forced entry was made through a rear window. The rear window was located inside the three-seasons porch. The rear of the home is in a court yard. The target of the break appears to have been the bedrooms. The victims bedroom was ransacked and many dresser drawers contents were emptied onto the bed. Greenough St: On 12/1 at approximately 2150hrs, officers responded to a report of a past residential breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers met with Victim, who stated that somebody entered her home through a rear window and stole some of her jewelry. It is believed that the break occurred sometime between 1200hrs and 1500hrs on 12/1. The window was unsecured and the victim’s bedroom was the only room targeted. Burglary
There were 5 Burglaries reported last week: Rawson Road: On 12/2 at approximately 1352hrs, officers responded to a burglar alarm that was activated at Rawson Road. Officers arrived, but the suspect had already fled the scene. The point of entry was a north side window, just above a low garage roof. The window screen was found approximately 10 feet away in a set of bushes. It is possible that the window was forced by a crow bar which was found just inside the window on a couch. Two second floor bedrooms were targeted, including a drawer being rummaged through. At this time Victim does not believe anything was taken from her home. Burglary
