The design process is important in the development of nutritionally sound food products because it benefits manufacturers helping them to make sound food products healthier for people to eat. The healthier our nutritionally products are they better it is. The design process will lead to people having better diets and having a much more thriving life. Without this process manufacturers wouldn’t be able to evaluate or asses the food products into much healthier sound food products. Why is the design process important in the development of nutritionally sound food products?

Food manufacturers implement the design process when they are creating new food products by trying to make their products healthier and more nutritional in value. They also do this by when advertising they create bold colours and expand on their information of the products so they can sell it successfully to the community. Also making the product look more tasty and edible for someone to eat. How do food manufactures implement the design process when they are creating a new food production?

We can change nutritionally unsound recipes to prevent particular food related disorders by changing a certain recipe to a similar one but much healthier and beneficial for them to eat. Example: How can we modify nutritionally unsound recipes to prevent particular food related disorders?

Food production companies influence the health of society by modifying basic products like swapping a lot of sugar for exchange with less, another example white flour exchanged to wholemeal flour and the last example is wholemeal bread than having white bread. This influences the society because it helps lose weight and try to eat healthier. Changing the types of breads, flour, oil and butter and help the health of society by following the way the food companies make our world healthier. How do food production companies influence the health of society by modifying basic products?
