 Afghanistan’s main exports include Opium, fruits, hand-woven carpets, wool, cotton, and other high quality textiles  Export mainly to Pakistan, but also to India, Russia, and Iran.  They export around $376 Million, but import $6.39 Billion Import machines, food, oil  The Afghanistan government cut their debt in half from 2008 to ($2.7 billion to $1.28 billion)  (1)

 Population of around 30 Million Work force of 15 million, indicating a low life expectancy and dependency ratio  Their currency is called “afghanis” AFA Exchange rate of 51 per US dollar  One US dollar is equivalent to around 51 Afghanis (1)
