Creative Ways to Present Material Make a graphic organizer to present material – characters, setting, etc. PowerPoint or Prezi slide show (made by all members) Poster or Tri-Fold Board Some sort of handout for class members, such as a quiz or activity Making a “Quiz” Asking for Volunteers (make it interactive!) Offering a “prize” for volunteers Wearing “costumes” (ex. – masks, wearing a certain color, 80s attire,etc.) Bringing in props (ex. – phone, box, magic book, rose, etc.) Showing a movie clip Acting out a short “skit” to demonstrate a scene from the story (or host a game show) Make a group video *outside of class* to share Adding music to set tone or mood of story / Mood lighting, candles, etc. Sharing an article to accompany the story – text to world example Sharing photographs of author, characters, etc. Making a collage or some creative artwork to demonstrate imagery, etc. MANDATORY: Fun Activity *mini art project, puzzle, etc. to demonstrate an important aspect of your story. This work should be equal and be evidence of effort & participation by all members! At the end of the week, add pictures, animations, and more to enhance a uniform look.
