YEAR 12 – WELCOME AND CONGRATULATIONS FOR MAKING THE GRADE Mr Smith, Mr Chapman & Mr O'Connell BEAL HIGH SCHOOL SIXTH FORM

You achieved Amazing GCSE Results in % 5 grades at A*-C 69% 5 grades at A*-C including Maths and English Congratulations to parents. But most of all the hard work of the students.

Amazing A-Level and BTEC Results 2015 We achieved amazing A-Level and BTEC Results. Average Point Score APS per student (every grade that a student achieves is worth a certain value and these are then added up). We scored students (15% of all students) achieved the coveted straight A*/A this year. There were many successful Medics and dentists and Vets applications who took up offers from top universities. Our highest number of top achieving BTEC students secured University places at the most prestigious universities, to study competitive courses Other Routes to success – Apprenticeships secured on engineering and technical courses.

Students achieving 3 or more As and A*s Tafsir Ahmed, Talha Akoon, Shahamat Ali, Zaynab Ali, Miraal Azhar, Isabella Gazi, Oyon Haque, Vinaya Jeyakumar, Jessica Jourja, Joshua Kilonda, Ben Lansdowne, Arjan Matharu, Farah Mirza, Kieran Patel, Maryam Patel, Mathanraj Perinpananthan, Pranav Pillai, Zain Qadri, Mehran Quraishy, Izaiah Romain, Sridal Santosh, Amun Shokar, Birju Sonigra, Jon Vanderpuye, Haydn Yick and Anam Zaka ! (I’m hoping this year’s students will be on this list in 2 years time!)

A thought 90% of Beal students got into University this year compared to 78% nationally. THIS WAS NOT PURE CHANCE AND IT IS NOT JUST BECAUSE THEY CAME TO BEAL!! 40% of year 13s said they wished they had worked harder in Year 12 * *university offers are based on Year 12 results, so you have only 2 terms of learning...you can no longer resit papers in January.
