Benefits Insight for All Employees ARCADIA UNIVERSITY’S ONLINE BENEFITS ENROLLMENT PLATFORM

Section 1 HOW TO REGISTER FOR YOUR BENEFITS INSIGHT ACCOUNT

Let’s begin! Please visit customer

Register for your Benefits Insight account. You must register for a username before you can log on.

Verify your identity by answering security questions.

Hold on! Why are we asking for your social security number? You can view the disclaimers here.

Verify that your information is correct. If it is, please continue to set up your username. If your information is not correct, please contact Human Resources at

Confirm your username and security question.

Return to the Login Page to login.

Login using your username and password.

Please read the User Agreement.

Once you’ve read the user agreement, please agree to the terms. If you do not agree to the terms, it will bring you to the log in page. You will need to agree to the terms in order to proceed.

Section 2 INTRODUCING THE BENEFITS INSIGHT HOMEPAGE

This is your Benefits homepage. Here, you will see your messages that will prompt you to enroll either as a new hire or for Open Enrollment, depending on the employee. If you are not a new hire or it is not Open Enrollment, this will be empty.

As you scroll down, you can view more of your homepage. The system will also ask you to input your family information if you are considering adding dependents to your benefit plan.

Now, let’s explore the tabs on the homepage. We will start with the View Benefits tab.

If you are a new hire, you will not see anything in this tab. Going forward, the Current Benefits tab shows you the benefits in which you are enrolled.

The Benefits Information tab includes documentation and summaries for all health plans that we offer.

Section 3 ENROLLING IN YOUR BENEFITS AS A NEW HIRE OR DURING OPEN ENROLLMENT

Click Here! Let’s start enrolling in your benefits! You will have the option to start enrolling here.

Hint: Look at the orange boxes next to the page title that say “Want to learn more?” They will help you chose the plans you need. To begin click “Get Started”.

Please enter your family information by simply clicking on the corresponding smiley face. When completed, you can hover over your smiley face to view a summary of the person’s information. Then click Continue.

Next choose a medical plan. Under each plan, you will see the cost based on how often you get paid (monthly, semi- monthly, bi-weekly). You also have the option to waive medical benefits.

NOTE: This is only required for HMO plans. When you chose a plan, you can scroll down and view the plan details. Summaries of the other benefits under that plan such as vision and prescription will also be listed.

If you currently have a family dentist, you can check if they are in Cigna’s network.

Enter the annual dollar amount here.

Arcadia offers commuter benefits if you take public transportation to work.

Please choose a beneficiary.

$ xxx,xxx $ XXX,XXX Use the slider to select additional life insurance coverage. Your cost for this optional coverage is based on your age and Arcadia’s group rates. All supplemental life insurance requests after October 31, 2015 require you to fill out an online medical questionnaire after you submit your elections.

Use the slider to elect additional accidental death and dismemberment insurance.

All employees are eligible for short term disability after one year of employment.

All employees are eligible for long term disability after one year of employment. They are covered at 60% of their salary.

If you are adding dependents onto your coverage, please read the Dependent Affidavit Coverage Agreement and agree to the terms below.

If you are not adding dependents, please choose I Do Not Agree.

Section 4 REVIEWING YOUR BENEFITS

Almost finished! This page will allow you to review your benefits and make any changes before your submit them.

This is the summary of all of the benefits you selected. By clicking edit, you will return to the corresponding page.

Please read the terms and conditions before you submit. Also, make sure to check that you have elected the coverage that you want.

Congrats! You have successfully elected for your benefits at Arcadia University! Your benefits confirmation is available immediately in PDF form.

Section 5 MAKING A CHANGE TO YOUR BENEFITS OUTSIDE OF OPEN ENROLLMENT

Please go to your benefits homepage.

As you scroll down, you will see more options. To make a change to your benefits, please click on “Make Changes”.

You can choose your life event from the drop down list. Please note that you can make a change outside of Open Enrollment ONLY if you have a qualifying life event.

Examples of a Life Event Remove Spouse or Domestic Partner- due to Divorce or Partnership Dissolution Remove Dependent- due to not being eligible Enroll Child- due to Birth, Adoption, Guardianship, Court Order Enroll in Benefits- due to losing other coverage (employee and/or dependent(s) ) Enroll Spouse or Domestic Partner- due to marriage or new partnership Beneficiary Change- No other Benefits Changes Commuter Account Change HSA Contribution Change- No Other Benefits Changes Change Benefits- due to gaining other coverage (employee and/or dependents(s) )

This summary will explain what you can change at this time. By hitting Continue, you will be able to change your benefits based on your life event. For more detailed information on a particular page, please see Section 3: Enrolling as a New Hire or for Open Enrollment.
