Where is the Northeast Region? The Northeast region of the United States is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Great Lakes to the west. It is bordered by Canada to the north and the Mason Dixon Line to the south.

You Divided This Region? The Northeast region is divided into the New England states and the Mid-Atlantic states.
