2. Plan

Step 1: Choose Choose countries you expect to have the most realizations with – these countries will become your LC-LC cooperation targets. Choose
Find the LCP/LCVP contacts Decide who will contact whom? (LCP or LCVP) Plan when will you send (for small LCs) or have partnership meetings (for big and medium LCs) Assign person from your LC that will take care of the partnership Connect
While you are having meeting (or send ), make sure: a) Tell the LC that you are one of the “national partner” (bring facts as well why we are partners and how the partnership meeting went in IC) b) Talk about the following: a) INTERNSHIP DETAILS: Talk about the details of your exchange programs that you both have (projects, sub-products/issue/JDs, their target for the year, their timelines) b) EXCHANGE STANDARDS: Inform them about minimum promises you both have c) GOAL: Set an expected goal of your partnership! c) Set a concrete communication deal (how many times will communicate, when to have next meeting) d) Fill LC-LC Partnership tracker Collect
3. Track

How to track Have frequent touch points: -Twice a week, after Ma -> each week -Discuss main communication channel Always make a minutes of meeting + send it to all people involved after your meeting. Be honest and clear about your expectations. Don’t be condescending or rude → just throwing it out there. We’re all in this together for the same misión. Set clear understanding of how many Opportunities will match. Get to know your LC partners as friends :]
Needs to be tracked Marketing Timeline & Result # of meetings/open opportunities in Host LC Our Matching Progress Exchange Standards All strategies that both of you agree to implement to make this partnership successful (for ex: ask, what needs to be covered at your OPS, what will be covered at IPS when the EP gets there. How is reception? What about pickup? ) Ask for any additional materials that your partnerLC has that can better prepare your EPs for their LC. Maybe they have an EP LEAD system you can incorporate. Communicate the expectations and culture of Americans – transparency is key → If something goes wrong with the project, US EPs would rather know why so that we can help fix it instead of just sitting around and waiting. That leads to EPs believing the programs are illegitimate.
4. Evaluate

Evaluation meeting After realization of the EPs, hold meeting with your LC partner to evaluate the success of the partnerships and things that you need to continue or to improve in collaboration. Method to use: What went well Even better if Areas to talk about: timeline execution marketing & promotions process to raise EP or Opportunity exchange Standards delivery (anything to specify? Add?), NPS Score, cases situation (if any/how can we prevent them in future) further cooperation agreement
Tips In case of not sufficient scale of the partnership you can replace skype meeting into mail channel of the communication, where you will cover evaluation topics in written format. Meet with your OGX team to discuss follow up plan in details. Understand before judge! Blacklist LC is the least “AIESEC” thing that you can do. Instead think about what you can do to improve EP experience and what you need to ask/track your partners to do to deliver leadership experience. Make discussions short, specific (don`t talk in general, give example), solution oriented (after agreements put clear action step with person responsible and DDL).
