Today’s Agenda School Improvement Plan ( ) - Review Data Analysis – Reality Check – Why? Assessments / Progress Monitoring - Focus Professional Learning – Outline for 2014/2015 Pre Planning Schedule – Best use of time? Mission/Vision Statement - Revise Tuesday Afternoons AdvancED Standards AdvancED Surveys

School Improvement Plan Review changes in goals – Charter Contract Exceed District and State pass rate ‘Beating the Odds’ - What are three greatest areas of improvement? How do we tie professional learning to those areas?

Data Analysis Yearly Improvement – CMCSI Are we utilizing Learning Lab? Warrior Wednesdays? Specials? County comparison – lost ground

Assessments/Progress Monitoring administration of DRA will remain the same for K-2; 3 rd grade will no longer be required to administer DRA (optional). The new balanced scorecard indicator will be taken from the posttest DRA for 2 nd grade and the pretest DRA for 4 th grade. 4 th and 5 th grades will only be required to administer the DRA at the beginning of the year. Math S.L.O.s will be tabled until rd Grade’s Math S.L.O. needs revision and will be improved to better match the DOK of the standards. ELA SLO will be separated into Reading and Writing K-3 and will count as the required two SLO’s with one administration.

Assessments/Progress Monitoring 3 rd grade’s ELA S.L.O. will be written to match unit assessments/GMAPs as best we can to make their assessments more consistent throughout the year. Proposed switch of System PL day(August 7 th ) and School PL day(January 5 th or February 13 th ). Decision to finalized soon. GMAP/EOG Tests (to replace CRCT) are still being developed.
