HEDGE END DAILY NEWS Breaking news! Counsellors have announced a possible ban on bicycles in the hedge end area. The ban comes about from many complaints from local residents and car owners saying that ‘bikes are a menace to pedestrians and vehicles on the road’. A spokesperson from the council gave a statement reporting that the number of bicycle related incidents have gone up and ‘barely anyone wears a helmet anyway- they are death traps’. Counsellors are due to vote next week and are confident their vote will go through as they face little political opposition from the bicycle riders they are hoping to target.
