Managing Project Document Versions You can track the history of the documents uploaded to Oracle WebCenter Collaboration and stored in the Document Repository Service. Oracle WebCenter Collaboration saves all revisions of a document you checked in and keeps a document history. 2

Managing Project Document Versions Each time a document is checked in, this latest version becomes the working version; however, users can roll back to a previous version if desired. If a document contains text, its latest working version is indexed for searching. 3

Managing Project Document Versions If your document exists within a moderated folder and you have created a new version, that version of the document is not widely available until it has been approved. 4

Managing Project Document Versions To manage version history, Navigate to the Documents application view page. 5

Managing Project Document Versions If more than one version of the document exists and you have the appropriate permissions, you can: Permanently delete all versions of the document except for the current working version. Revert the current working version to another version. Permanently delete a single document version. 10

Managing Project Document Versions Revert the current working version to another version by selecting the desired Revert icon. 12

Managing Project Document Versions Make sure that you periodically remove unneeded document versions to help keep the size of your Collaboration Project within its limits. Note: Deleted document Versions do not go to the Recycle Bin and are not recoverable. If a Working Version of a document is deleted, it will go to the Recycle Bin. 14

Managing Project Document Versions Project Leaders should periodically empty the Recycle Bin. Select the “Manage Project” dropdown icon. 15
