Languages Spain is devided in 17 main regions but there are only 4 main languages: - Basque (Basque Country, Navarre) - Galician (Galicia) - Spanish(Castellano) - Catalan(Catalonia, Balears, Valencia)
Dialects There are also many dialects which corresponds to the region. E.g: murician corresponds to Murcia or manchan corresponds to La Mancha.

Spanish Most people living in spain understand and use spanish language. This is official language of spain (sometimes called Castellano). Students in spanish schools have to learn this language besides of foreign language and other language(e.g catalan or galician). This language is used in countries of South America e.g Argentina.
