Tips N Tricks Maneuvering shelves and positions

Tips for working with shelves Copying and pasting a shelf is not recommended. It places all shelves at coordinate 0 for Z. All gondola shelves that are not basedecks should have a Z coordinate of Drag and drop your shelf Use the N key to attach to correct notch Check your X coordinate

Where all coordinates are measured from Point 0.00in for all 3 coord’s Z - Z + X - X + Y + Y -

ProSpace Setup – make sure your shelves line up with notchbars When dragging a shelf with your mouse you can make sure it lines up with the notchbars

Shelves - Controlling how high the product stacks Click on the shelf that you need to edit Hit H – brings up Shelf Properties and highlights the merch height field 0 = no limit other than a shelf above it or the top of the gondola Any other value will stop an item from stacking above your specified amount

Shelves and Planograms – Automating fixture changes

Structure of a Space Automation Script Want to have this script applied to all planograms? –You will need a For Planograms loop at the beginning on a line by itself and end the script with End Planograms on its own line. Everything in between those two lines will be repeated until it has run out of planograms Want this script to be applied to all fixtures in that planogram? –You will need a For Fixtures loop at the beginning on a line by itself and end the script with End Fixtures on its own line. Everything in between those two lines will be repeated until it has run out of fixtures “If” statements start with IF and end the line with THEN. The lines after that will be the commands to carry out. –ELSE is optional –End the “if” statement with END IF on its own line at the bottom of the IF portion of the script
