The formula for figuring out the perimeter of a regular 2 dimensional figure (polygon) is 2Length + 2Width = Perimeter or 2L + 2W = P ( 2x6) + (2x3) = 18 ft or = 18 ft
To find the perimeter of an irregular 2 dimensional figure (polygon) just add up all the sides.
