David McClellan MD Experienced Physician David McClellan, MD is an experienced physician who ran one of the largest private practices in Houston at one point in his career. He founded Lake Houston Family Practice in Crosby, Texas and the Trinity Valley Medical Center in Liberty, Texas. He has also taught medical students for 20 years at the Baylor College of Medicine. During his years as a physician, Dr. McClellan practiced orthopedics, OBGYN, dermatology, pediatrics, and more. David McClellan, MD is a family practitioner serving his community of Crosby, Texas, near Houston. He has founded two family private practices in the area. His first, Lake Houston Family Practice he has run since 1981.

David McClellan MD Former Medical School Educator David McClellan, MD was an Assistant and later Associate Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine for 20 years. He went on to found a family private practice near Houston. He helped patients in many different forms of medicine including OBGYN, orthopedics, dermatology, and pediatrics. He ran one of the largest private practices in the Houston area at one point, working as the founder of Lake Houston Family Practice. David McClellan, MD graduated from the University of Kansas cum laude as a member of the Phi Betta Kappa fraternity. He earned his BA degree there and moved on to study medicine at the University of Kansas as well.

For decades, McClellan used to run the family private practice Lake Houston Family Practice in Crosby, Texas. McClellan has always had a love for horses and livestock, and his work in the rural community of Liberty now includes a horse breeding program on his horse ranch. Horse breeding, specifically for Quarter Horses, began as soon as Europeans started settling in the New World. A particularly successful breeding tradition arose in Colonial Virginia, specifically Williamsburg.
