What is Title I ? The Title I program is a federally funded program that allows our school to use Title I funds to pay for services and programs that are utilized by all students at our school.

Who benefits from Title I funding? All students benefit from the use of Title I funds. Title I funds help support extra instruction in reading and math, as well as after-school and summer programs to extend and reinforce regular school curriculum.

Examples of Services & Programs Title I services and programs that can help improve your child’s education. – Tutorials ( Saturday School for STAAR preparation) – Summer school (Grades 1-4) – Workshops for teachers & parents – Technology Upgrades (PCs and laptops) – Teaching Materials (Reading & Math) – School Support Staff (Instructional Specialist for Interventions)

Parental Involvement Policy Revisions Please review Parental Involvement Policy with those at your table. Discuss any items that you believe need to be changed or added under each section. Write your changes and/or additions on the revision form provided. In about 10 minutes, changes and/or additions will be discussed with the entire group.
