Event Focus In 2014 & 2015, Schenectady County Visitors Agency (SCVA) focused on bringing unique visitors to Schenectady County through annual events that showcase the revitalized downtown area. SCVA works with organizations within the county to help plan and promote 200+ events. – The 4 th Annual Wing Walk in October sold out at 1,000 tickets. Event goers sampled up to 18 different wings from participating restaurants. – Schenectady County’s annual SummerNight featured headliner Bernie Williams(former Yankee player) and his All Star Band, which brought 22,000 + people to downtown Schenectady.
Growing Convention Business With ample meeting space in the Proctors Convention Complex, Schenectady Armory and more, Schenectady County is ready to accommodate for groups up to people.
