Worship Services Nine congregations continue to meet within Crofton Parish Weekly Services 1) Morning Service 9.30am Holy Rood (Communion once a month) 2) Evening Service Sunday 6.30pm, except 1 st Sunday. (Communion once a month) 3) St Edmunds 8am or 9.30am (Communion every other week) 4) Thursday 10:30 ServiceMidweek communion service, once a month Mother’s Union theme

APCM Report ADULTS Worship Services Nine congregations continue to meet within Crofton Parish Fortnightly services 5) 11:10 Communion2 nd and 4 th Sunday, followed by sherry and lunch club.

APCM Report ADULTS Worship Services Nine congregations continue to meet within Crofton Parish Monthly Services 6) Causeway 1 st Sunday with special provision for those with learning difficulties 7) Pastorate1 st Wednesday Teaching service, (supported by weekly social meetings) 8) Ignite Gathering Saturday youth service. 9) Messy Church 2 nd Wednesday, whole family: craft teaching, celebration, meal.

APCM Report ADULTS Pastoral Care The Bereavement Team Co-ordinated by Sandy and Valerie Wright The team meet regularly. Rev. Sally Davenport come and speak to the group. The Annual Memorial Service Held in October Beryl Stares led the service and Rev. Sally Davenport preached The service was very well-attended, many of whom have been attending for many years.

APCM Report ADULTS Pastoral Care Cup of Tea and Company Mel and Margaret Mason continue to lead supported by Beryl Stares and Colin Prestidge. The Crofton Mother’s Union Celebrated their 124 th anniversary in 2015 MU continues to develop with Anne Bebbington as MU president.

APCM Report ADULTS Pastoral Care Home Communion The team visit care homes and private homes Good Companions Organised by Val Wadham (come to an end in 2016) The Sunday Lunch Club, Twice a month after 11:10 service, Haly Catering. This mission initiative would benefit from a ‘champion’

APCM Report ADULTS Evangelism and Mission Alpha course Autumn term of 2015, Mix of attendees from Holy Rood and St Edmunds. The course was run in a ‘café style’,. This Alpha group will move onto a Christianity Explored course in 2016.

APCM Report ADULTS Evangelism and Mission Events The following activities took place within Crofton Parish and had a clear mission dimension: Village Remembrance Day service Carol singing at Crofton pub ‘Live Nativity’ at Holy Rood Sunday afternoon services given by home group members to residents at various care and nursing homes

APCM Report ADULTS Evangelism and Mission Events Holy Rood Christmas lunch for those which otherwise might be on their own on Christmas Day Providing drinks to runners after the Stubbington 10K race. FOCOC events such as barn dances, games night

As a parish we commit to the deanery covenant, – signed at the yearly Archdeaconry Visitation Include the Deanery weekly cycle of prayer in intercessions
