UCPEA Article 38 Health and Safety Policy and EH&S Committee 38.2 Whenever possible, employees will be notified in advance that the building they are working in will be undergoing repairs, major renovations, or that a parking lot will be permanently closing. Building & Emergency Contacts (BECs) Roles and Responsibilities Notified in the event of an emergency Notified regarding disruptions of essential building services. Notified regarding construction/servicing activities that could impact occupant health and safety. Sent notices about building projects, and invitations to attend pre-construction meetings.
