Presentation transcript:

President Jefferson Davis Students’ names, date, class period Include a title page; this is a plain example, you can make yours colorful and exciting with graphics, etc.

Roles of the President On this slide you should list the roles of president. Do not explain them, just list them in bullet format, in point. (This is 36) They MUST be in order per the grading rubric.

2 slides for each role For each role, the first slide should have a photo of the president (you can choose one photo or a variety) and be titled with the name of the role. Here is where you include a short description of the role, and three actions/powers/responsibilities of the president in that role, listed in bullet format. On the second slide dedicated to each role, you should have a photo or illustration of the president in that role. It should be a photograph, not an illustration. Note the figures in the illustration are identified going left to right. You must do this for every photograph/illustration you use.

Chief Executive For this slide (the first one created for each presidential role), you are to briefly describe the role and include a photograph of the president. For these seven slides, the photo can be the same one, or if you wish, a different photo for each role. You are REQUIRED to include a minimum of THREE actions-in-role the president performs for this role, in bulleted format: First action Second action Third action

Slide 2 for Each Role On this slide, find a photograph of the president – while still in office! – actually carrying out this role. It’s recommended you find a photo of him in-role using one of the 3 bulleted actions/powers you listed in Slide I of the role.

Pres. Davis and his Cabinet Pictured from left to right are: Attorney-General Judah P. Benjamin, Secretary of State Stephen M. Mallory, Navy Secretary C.G. Memminger, Vice President Alexander H. Stephens, Secretary of War Leroy Pope Walker, President Jefferson Davis, Postmaster John Reagan, and Secretary of State Robert Toombs.

Photo Captions The president MUST be identified Anyone directly interacting with the president MUST be identified, especially if they are germane to the role/action: world leader, member(s) of the Cabinet, important citizen, etc. People in the background not germane to the purpose of the role do not have to be identified.
