Library Mission The mission of the Chesterfield County Public School libraries is to empower students and staff through the direction and guidance of certified school librarians to become critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers and ethical users/creators of information in support of student achievement in a global environment. 1.Keep a plastic bag in your backpack to protect the book from liquid spills and rain. 2.Have a safe place for library books at home, away from younger children and pets. 3.Keep books away from food and drink. 4.Keep your library book in the same safe place so you can find it easily. 5.Don’t repair books at home – bring them to the library where our trained staff can repair books properly. 6.Remember your Library day so you can check-out!
