The Twelve Olympians were the twelve great gods of Greek mythology. Together, they presided over human life’s every aspect. They lived on Mount Olympus with the other Olympian gods.

 Where all the Olympians live except for the gods that live in the Underworld.  Towers up from the center of the Earth  There is actually a mountain named Mount Olympus.

 Hidden in the Earth  Ruled by Hades with his wife Persephone  The kingdom of the dead  Judged to see which place you will go to when you are dead

 Aphrodite  Apollo  Ares  Artemis  Athena  Demeter  Dionysus  Hephaestus  Hera  Hermes  Poseidon  Zeus

 Goddess of beauty, love, pleasure, and childbirth  Aphrodite means “ arisen from the foam” in Ancient Greek because she was born from the sea foam.  Married to Hephaestus, but her love was always devoted to Ares  Children are Eros, Himeros, Pothos, Phobos, Deimos, Armonia, and Rhode
