Background The need for the project follows a business requirement by Eskom to construct a new railway line from the TRF coal line to Majuba Power Station. The project requirements is to source service providers for the provision of Horticulture & Maintenance services to Group Capital Division (GCD), Majuba Rail Siding Project offices and related structures on the 68 km rail link servitude on Eskom Assets. The contract will run for 12 months with possibility of extension should the project not finish on time Tenders will be solicited from Black Women Owned (BWO) Companies, Black Youth Owned and Small Business Enterprises (SBE) operating in the surrounding towns to the project namely: Volksrust Amersfoort Ermelo Standerton 3

Scope of Works: Cleaning Services In general, the description of the Services covered by the proposed contract includes, but not limited to the following: Cleaning services and waste remove to localized bins To provide car wash services for Majuba Rail pool vehicles

Scope of Works: Horticulture In general, the description of the Services covered by the proposed contract includes, but not limited to the following: Gardening services at Project offices, servitude offices and Ermelo offices Landscaping where required by the Employer

Scope of Works: General Maintenance In general, the description of the Services covered by the proposed contract includes, but not limited to the following: General building maintenance. Electrical maintenance to all buildings and installations Maintenance to plumbing infrastructure Maintain paint work to specification on the buildings as and when required Repairs to office furniture and fittings Maintenance of air conditioners as and when required Repairs to servitude fence as and when required 2016/06/1311
