Hero

What is a Hero? A man/woman of well-known courage or ability who is well-liked for his/her brave actions and noble behavior.

The Hero’s Cycle The hero is born in an unusual situation. The hero's real parents might not be known. The hero may be threatened as a child. Often trained by an older, wise person.

The Hero’s Cycle cont. Young hero goes on a quest/journey to save his people from a threat (monster or false leader). The hero usually has to overcome a major hurdle/problem/feat and show great strength or intelligence; passes a test of some kind. The hero is unlikely to be a person of influence.
