Finding Your Students User Names and Passwords Once you are logged on to your account find “classes” on the left hand menu and choose a class.

1. Choose Manage 2. Choose Rosters 3. User names are inside the ( ).

Student Passwords Student passwords are their birthdates with no leading zeroes. Examples: * This user name and password is good for the Student Portal, Destiny and Sharp Schools. BirthdateSharp School Password September 3, May 16, December 9,

SharpSchool Address Student Portal Address public/ public/ (yes, there is an app for this, district code is XGPM) When students login to SharpSchool, they will be able to access a link to the Student Portal and Destiny

Part 2, Power TeacherPower Teacher Gradebook Set up for Semester Long Classes. 1.Select/Create your categories. (bottom left +/-). 2.Delete the ones you will not use so you won’t accidentally use them for an assignment. 3.You will need: major assignments, quizzes, classwork, and homework as categories.

Grade Set Up 1.Now choose the grade set up tab. 2.Semester 1 3.F1 must be set at TERM WEIGHTS. 4.G1(G2, G3) must be set a category weights as follows: Major assignments 50% Quizzes 25% Classwork 15% Homework 10% 5.X1 should be TOTAL POINTS 6.Now COPY the grade set up to your other classes. (Check each to make sure it has been done.) *Enter at least one grade per week. Assignments should be posted with in 5 days of collection.

Advisory Grade Set Up Look at the grade SET UP for the ADVISORY class for F1. If you see X1, Change the weight to 0. Next, change S1 and S2 weight to 50. G1, G2,G3, G4, G5, and G6 should change to 16.7% SAVE the changes. * If you have grades for advisory, do not enter them in Power Teacher gradebook. Enter a P at the end of grading period only.

Part 3, Power Teacher Attendance me.html me.html Take attendance within the first 20 minutes of class (click on chair, submit and o turns green). Late students are marked TARDY. Absent students are 2A (unexcused) Excuse notes should be sent to office.
