An interdisciplinary approach to the ancient world: coins, inscriptions, art and their reception… What private stories of intrigue, power and desire do public inscriptions betray? Why do we idealise classical Greek art? How did the Romans use art to construct personal and group identities? How should we read ancient coins? The MA by Research Two Routes: Route A: 40,000 words written over 12 months Route B: 2 x 5,000 word essays, language training and dossier 25,000 word dissertation In both cases your work will be examined by both an internal and external examiner (except Language dossier – marked at Warwick only).
