“I love volunteering! I like serving people and helping a good cause. There is a need for compassion in our community.” “Being able to participate in the volunteer experience with Trinity helped me understand and learn more about the Parkland community.”

“One of the pleasures we had when we worked in the food pantry was meeting and working with the volunteers from PLU. Their enthusiasm as volunteers and willingness to do whatever was asked of them impressed us. It was such a joy and inspiration to be associated with these young people.”

“I really enjoy the students!! They are helpful, attack each assignment with enthusiasm, and ask for more. I love being around them.” “It is a pleasure to be around the students. Their openness and their enthusiasm is an inspiring experience to us retired folk.” “The joy the student volunteers bring to events makes it such fun to work with them. I enjoy hearing about where they are from, how they chose PLU, and the volunteer activities they enjoy.”

THANK YOU! With sincere appreciation for the PLU students who gave of their time, energy, and gifts at Trinity Lutheran Church this past academic year. More than 150 students have been involved in volunteering with the Feeding Ministry and other activities of the church. We take this opportunity to acknowledge all these willing hands.
