The photo now clearly shows that it was taken around early spring with snow still on the ground, but warm enough for the children not to be bundled up. Likely Easter as the children have a basket in their hands (my Dad and my Aunt) and looks like they are participating in an Easter egg hunt. Barn and fence lines are visible in background.

Once enhanced, I discovered that this photo was taken near the same location as item #1, as the background shows barn, (maybe it is a house), same trees and fence lines. I am speculating that it was taken at a relative’s house, likely at one of the cousins in the photo.

Once enhanced, also discovered that this photo was taken near the same location as item #1, as the background shows barn, (maybe it is a house), same trees and fence lines. I am speculating that it was taken at a relative’s house, likely at one of the cousins in the photo.

This photo was taken on the front porch of my grandmother’s farm house near Rosemont Ontario, during the 2 nd world war. It shows my father and his siblings, approximately in 1943, around the time that he would have enlisted in the army. It appears that he is holding a camera in his hands.
