 We gather necessary information and report any unexpected reaction as a result of drug administration to the Federal Drug Administration through the MedWatch program.  An unexpected reaction can be classified as a reaction not explained by documented side effects of an agent.

To cover a 6:30 am – 7:30 pm work day we typically have 4 pharmacists 6 technicians We simply could not achieve all our daily goals without the help of excellent technians!

 My goal as an Operating Room Pharmacist is to strive to provide the very best care for patients coming to be treated in the Operating room. I do this in a variety of ways such as answering questions, ensuring policy and procedure is followed, being approachable, asking questions and occasionally giving presentations. I enjoy being an integral part of the OR team. I can honestly say that I learn something new every day. I find my career to be enriching and rewarding.
