References  A central heading on a separate page with the word References  First line of the references section is indented (hanging indent)  Should be typed double-spaced  The references are listed in alphabetical order by the last name of the first author of each article  If there are two articles by the same author(s), arrange in ascending order by year of publication

Periodicals  Include journals, magazines, newspapers, and newsletters.  General reference form:  Author, A.A., Author, B.B, Author, C.C. (year). Title of the article. Title of Periodical, xx, pp. doi: xx.xxxxxxxxxx  Use doi number if it is assigned.  If retrieved online use this format:  Retrieved from  Give issue number in parentheses after the volume number
