Name: Adrian Dennis Type of photography taken: Adrian Dennis specialises in sports photography Products his their photographs have been used in: Agence france- presse and the independent Which are high end newspapers

I like this image due to the fact it captures the pure joy of the winning fighter in the red but also because it captures the melancholy face of the loser in the blue. Due to the image being a low angle shot it makes the woman in red look as if she is jumping higher than she actually is which amplifies the sensation of joy that she is feeling.

This photograph stands out to me due to the way the photographer has used the shadows in a way that it almost looks like the horse itself is the out of place item in this photo with the shadows are positioned in such a way it looks as if you’re sat just a few feet higher than these people giving you the impression you’re one of the crowd.

I like this image due to the photographer using the Olympic flame of 2012 as a way of making the Olympic and British flag go out of focus, Whilst you are able to see each lick of flame creeping up the image in sharp focus

I like the way the photographer has made the majority of the image out of focus and made sure the image on the screen of Usain Bolt and a fan is in clear focus which is in contrast with how photographers capture images of celebrities and their fans.

I like this image due to the way the diver is silhouetted against the background in this pike positionThe fact that the lights are on in the backgrounds adds another focal point as these are almost central in the image, not only this but they cast a light up what otherwise would be a wall of shadow
