Introduction  With computing power increasing year over year, the Internet of Things finds itself at the intersection of two waves: ○ Identification and ○ Miniaturization  We all know that the IoT is reshaping the way business is done across industries, but how is it actually affecting us personally?  The Internet of Things is not even knocking on our doors anymore – it has firmly made itself at home.  Nowadays, anybody can use biosensors to collect information about heart, skin, muscles, or even brain activity.

Human Bodies The sensory devices can be used to monitor children, employees, or other individuals that may require special assistance. Within a decade, these devices can become smaller, lighter, or may even become embedded into our bodies–with enough advances in technology, and of course, general population approval.

Smart Houses  A smart house may sound like something straight from the Jet sons or simply a thing of the far future. Yet, it may be coming to your local neighborhood within a few years.  Several sensors will also be implemented in and around a house to warn owners of intruders, or of any household problems, such as plumbing issues.  Internally, smart appliances will also start to take over the kitchen, in the most helpful and satisfying manner.

Communities  With a more advanced GPS management system with IoT, each community and surrounding neighborhoods will be connected on a whole different level. Communities can become monitored more carefully to promote a safer environment for families.  Public transportation can become more efficient and can even run the trains, monorails, or buses, with enough safety measures.  an automated system that also simultaneously eliminates the wasting of the limited natural resources.

Commerce and Services  In commerce, corporations, small businesses, and organizations rely on countless systems to maintain their sales, company records, invoices–the list is endless.  With an IoT connected system, a hybrid is created with the connection of the smaller subsystems, potentially creating a stronger system.

Four Underlying Types of Living Services Technology that extends security Apps that quantify the self There are literally dozens of IoT solutions in this area. For example, one system called Presence turns old iPhones and Android devices into rotating home cameras. It uses software that connects old phones with functioning cameras to your current smartphone or PC, so you can view areas in your house remotely. People are interested in data that tells a story about themselves. We want to know how we compare to others—in terms of emotional intelligence, Body Mass Index, etc.

Services that optimize our machines Creative ways to enhance daily experiences People like IoT services that automatically do what they would otherwise have to do manually. One of the most popular programs turning on interior lights when the sun is setting is a good example of how smart, connected devices can be optimized to save people time and money.. people can afford to spend thousands of dollars on putting sensors and custom- built technology into their homes (as Microsoft founder Bill Gates is said to have done with giant computer screens that display famous art and photos as people walk around his Seattle-area home). But as the Internet of Things scales up and becomes more ubiquitous, many experiences will become available in everyday homes, at less exorbitant prices
